Victoria Hislop

Victoria Hislop is a writer and journalist. She writes travel features for the Sunday Telegraph, the Mail on Sunday and a number of magazines. Victoria won the Galaxy British Book Awards Newcomer of the Year in 2007, for her debut novel, THE ISLAND. THE ISLAND won Richard & Judy's Summer Read 2006, and was the Sunday Times number one paperback for eight weeks. THE ISLAND went on to become a worldwide bestseller, selling over a million copies. Victoria lives in Kent with her husband, Ian Hislop, and their two children.
