Mark Bowling
Mark Bowling worked as the ABC’s correspondent in Indonesia from 1998 to 2002, and the North Asia correspondent, based in Tokyo, from 1992 to 1994. Currently he is the ABC’s Director in the Northern Territory. He is the joint winner of the Australian Variety Club 2000 Heart Award for his radio news reporting in East Timor, and he also has won a Walkley award—these are Australia’s most-respected journalism awards. Running Amok is his first book.
